Make it Green!

  • December 1, 2013

Let’s face it… We all still need a little help eating our veggies. According to a recent USA Today article, consuming green smoothies is a great way to trick yourself into getting those necessary vegetables in your diet. In the article, Joan Salge Blake, a spokeswoman for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics states, “Vegetables are high in potassium, which can help lower blood pressure. If the vegetables are pureed so that the fiber is still intact, they will help fill you up.”
