One month from today, on Feb. 25, The Color Run will be coming to Las Vegas!
Vegas is world-famous for its flashy shows, eccentric costumes, and dazzling lights. But there’s more to Vegas than what you can find in the casinos!
Here are 4 adventurous options of things you can add to your Las Vegas The Color Run bucket list:
- Fremont Street light show. This dazzling light show is a must-see part of the Fremont Street Experience. Most people head right over to The Strip for their entertainment — but the OLD Las Vegas Fremont Street is packed with new and exciting things you won’t see anywhere else. BONUS: It’s right down The Color Run route! And the best part… Can you say FREE?!
- Downtown (Shipping) Container Park. The stores, restaurants, and bars in this shopping center are all contained in — can you guess? — shipping containers! In addition to different types of musical entertainment, there’s a playground and Treehouse in the middle of the open-air shopping center for both the young and the young at heart 😉 Shop around or simply take in the fun — either way you’re in for a unique experience (and it’s obvious Color Runners love unique experiences). 😉
- Neon Museum – Don’t quit reading just because this is a museum — The Neon Museum provides an “electrifying” blast-from-the-past experience that will entertain all ages. The Neon Museum is dedicated to helping you see Vegas through the ages by “collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment.” And it’s a non-profit, too. Score! Bright colors, bright lights… it’s right down your alley, Color Runner!
- Vegas Vic – One of the oldest icons of old downtown Las Vegas, Vegas Vic has been sitting right on Fremont Street (at 25 E Fremont Street, to be exact) since 1951. Taking the trip down Fremont to say “hi” to Vic has become the hidden gem of Las Vegas bucket lists. Go get a photo with Vic in your newly-colored clothes after the race!
Whether you’re coming for The Color Run or a Las Vegas native, there’s sure to be at least one thing you haven’t tried before. What are you planning on doing after The Color Run Las Vegas? Have you already done everything on this list? Let us know in the comments! 🙂
